MY BROTHER IN CONCERT

Here's a YouTube of my "avante guarde" composer/performer brother in concert in London this past month.

The video is a bit dark but the sound levels are fine.  The performance is notable in that none of the performers had ever performed together before and, in fact, had not even met each other until just hours before the concert.

The performance was at the Institute of Contemporary Art and was part of the Atlantic Waves Music Festival.  The piece is a "free improvisation" or, as my brother put it, "we're winging it."

The performers are, Kenneth Kirschner {my brother} on lap-top playing processed piano sounds, Pedro Carniero from Portugal on percussion, Manu Holterbach from France playing various sound objects {or objet if you will} and Anthony Pateras from Australia on prepared piano.

More of my brother's music can be found here and you can click the various links in his name in my post here to find out more about my talented little brother.

Seems to be pretty good Jockboy, thanks for asking.  He's on the mend but doing rehab type stuff.

I guess losing ones thyroid isn't a walk in the park.  But I also think that he's a lot like me and probably milks it for all its worth.

I am your reader for a long time now, and this has nothing to do with this post, but I was wondering have you seen the movie Zeitgeist? If yes, i'd like to read your comment on it. This documentary movie is available for free viewing here: http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com

Good to see Ken looking good.  Also nice that my twin has some talent; I sure as heck don't!
