There are a few bloggers out there – a very, very few indeed - of whom I am pleased to say that I am friends and who I've come to know via the Intertubez during the course of my being a blogger. Most bloggers, myself included, are well and truly insane and are most definitely not the type of people one should want to associate with if one's desire is to travel in life's "better" circles. On my blogroll there are several blogs listed whose daddies (or mommy in one case) are very dear friends of mine but most of those people fall into the shit house rat crazy category that I happily occupy. (Love to y'all and there'll be a meeting of the coven at a date and time to be determined later)
There is an exception however and thats Frank from Bourgeois Nerd, who started his blog at almost the exact same time as this one.
Frank is a really smart, really sweet, only slightly neurotic boy from a crappy part of New Jersey (OK, all the parts of Jersey are pretty crappy except for Princeton Township and Princeton Borough) who looks a great deal like my younger brother Ken the world famous composer - in other words, a total dork – and Frank and I have, over the past two years, become what I would consider close and that I hope he would as well.
As I said, Frank is a smart boy with a mind for the well written word and accordingly, Frank's blog is more literarily inclined than most but he posts enough truly stupid shit to keep it from crossing the line into pretension from fun and I recommend it highly to anyone looking for a change from the usual tedious faggot fare of color themed boy pictures, political rants from idiots who don't have a clue about what they are speaking, You Tube soundtracks posted so as to delineate the tragic downward spiral of the blogger's life or………well, you get the picture I hope. And even if you're not all that into stuff thats smart and interesting you should start reading Frank's blog because he's a really sweet kid, the kind I'd be proud to have as a little brother and because I say so.
So Happy Birthday to Bourgeois Nerd Frank. I love ya kid!
