QUOTE OF THE DAY
“Lance Armstrong’s “confession” has to be the most overhyped story of this decade, which is saying a lot. Aside from the fact that this was a train that you saw coming in slow motion from 50 miles away, the Lance Armstrong who manipulated the world for 15 years with his doping is now scheming to manipulate the world with his apology. The day that Lance Armstrong does something that isn’t all about Lance Armstrong will be the day we know that he actually, truly, is sorry.”
I never bought into the whole Lance Armstrong as God motif that so many people did. In fact, over the years, the more press he garnered the more repulsive I found him, regardless of his athletic accomplishments..
And when people like Oprah were singing his praises for beating cancer I allowed to cross my mind the truly uncharitable though that, “He probably got cancer from all the drugs he did.”
Anyway, I always figured him for a douchebag — and he is. And if you need any further proof of his douchebaggery then all you need to know is that he’s announcing to the world what the entire fucking world knew already and he’s doing it in an interview with Oprah — one of the world’s biggest narcissistic assholes.
The Oprah admission is just the precursor to the roll-out for his new tell-all biography.
Count on it.
Here’s Jon Stewart.

When Cheryl Crow dumped him, I thought, perhaps she found out something she shouldn’t have.

Love, love, LOVE John Stewart.
And I still think he is handsome.

Armstrong’s cheating and lying fit perfectly.
He is a staunch Republican and conservative.
I still remember the photo op of Armstrong and George Bush Jr bicycling around on Bush’s faux Texas ranch.
Just another GOP hypocrite and fraud.
Lies through his teeth until it affects his pocketbook. And, then come crocodile tears of faux remorse.

I would be curious to find out how he managed to “fool” all those international agencies that tested him for 12 years. Anyone questioning their testing methods and why they didn’t catch him sooner? Or if the test did show positive, why nothing was done before it was. There has to be a lot more than we’ve been told.

Well I guess the fact that he pedaled more than ten thousand miles , built a foundation for cancer and ended up with a 100 million dollar fortune are punishment enough. Obviously some people believe in him and what he tried to accomplish. Focus on the Adam Lanza’s of the world, instead of putting athletes on pedestals, where they will do or take anything to stay there.

Ah Oprah, what are you doing on that horse?
