I love how your staff all seem happy – AND are very handsome in their own way / tribe…

  2. Jason Says:

Scott where or where can I meet Tor at the conclusion of his shift at Q?

  3. bill Says:

Wow, thats a lot of booze behind them!

  4. Gordion Knott Says:

Do you have a system for organizing the bottles on the upper shelf, such as Scotches on the left, gin in the center, tequila on the right, or something similar? Are bourbons only available in the bourbon bar? (My liver has reviewed this picture and is curious.)

  5. Colonel Panic Says:

I’ll have a slow comfortable screw please. And I wonder what they look like at the end of the shift?

  6. Scott Says:

Colonel, Tor never has a hair out of place and is pretty much unflappable as a bartender. Ronnie on the other hand, looks as if he’s gone through the ringer at the end of his night. But that’s because he’s a barback whom we equip with a two-way and a secret service style earpiece and he’s basically running his ass off, responding to calls about spilled drinks, broken glasses, clogged toilets, and the needs of the bartenders the entire shift.

We’ve got four or five barbacks on duty during a busy shift and let me tell you; those boys WORK!

Everything radiates out from the center, GK. So at the center of either of the four sides of the shelves are the Q brand vodkas and then from there they’re arranged by type and brand. That way we can see at a glance what’s stocked and the five bartenders are always within a single step of being able to grab what they need.

There are the standard bourbons at the main bar — Makers, Wild Turkey, etc., while the Bourbon Bar has, at present, about 135 bourbons and whiskeys as well as a full complement of most other distilled products, six beers on tap and a full range of bottled beer from Rogue Brewery.

  8. Scott Says:

A whole lotta booze, bill! And you should see that back bar when we put our go go dancers up on the top shelf.
