A busy bar is a happy bar {and happy bar owner}.

Hot House Entertainment’s Trenton Ducati wiggling his money maker. Well, one of his money makers that is.

I’ll keep saying it until the entire world embraces it — Disco balls are couture.

I have to say Scott, the thing I love most about the top bar photo is the diversity of the crowd; women, jocks, cubs, preps, maybe a pervert or two….just people out to share a great evening together. Well done!

We’re really proud of the diverse and friendly mix we have at the club, G.
It was amazing, but before we opened so many people in the gay community were actively demanding that we publicly say we were going to be a gay club. I refused — always saying that we were a Capitol Hill club and that we welcomed everyone. When I explained to people via the press that as a gay man it would be hypocritical of me to demand my civil rights but then turn around and exclude via my words a whole swath of non-gay people from my club by labeling it gay, people actually suggested the community boycott us!!! Can you believe????
Anyway, we’re sort of like the Unitarian Church of nightclubs — everyone is welcome.

I can believe….I’ve been learning some really hard lessons about the reality of trying to launch my little entertainment project and working with my fellow gay brothers out there. Frankly, I can be so naive thinking that because I have the best of intentions others do as well…..ain’t so! Kind of bums me out but I haven’t given up, one of these days I will get things going….or die trying.
Anyhow, I can’t believe in less than 2 weeks I get to see your magical playground live and in person…excited!!!!! I know it will all go too fast and then back to retail holiday nightmares, lol.
