FUN NIGHT LAST NIGHT
Girl group Bananarama stopped by the club last night after their concert here in Seattle. And DJ/Producer Jacques Renault tore the roof off the club with the most amazing set yet played here by a DJ.
As Jacques said to me last night — “Dude! You’ve got a proper fucking club going on here. The sound system is incredible and the energy in this room is out of control! When can I come back?”
Or, as a patron said to his buddy as he grabbed him wide-eyed by the shoulders when they walked into the main room at its peak and saw it filled with over a thousand people — “WOW! We’re definitely not in Seattle any more.”

Scott, I thought the idea was to blow Seattle’s mind and give them a club that could be anywhere in the world — looks like you have done it!

Quick little story for you….I did an event several years ago during leather week in Cleveland, the closing party was a dance event we called “Sticky Floor Disco” (lol) and I just remember being alone up in a balcony looking down over the crowd and feeling that energy and excitement that they were all experiencing…..I never forgot that moment and the happiness it brought me that something I helped to create brought so much joy to so many people! It was as good of a high as any rollercoaster has ever brought me!
In a small way I think I know how you must be feeling today after last night…..congrats on your success!

I always thought that song was just a ladies hair removal jingle. Never new there was a longer version.
Ya know, Scott. The only disagreement I ever have with blog is your musical taste. Maybe it’s the generational gap. Dunno. Sometimes I wanna send you a mix CD. Just see what ya think. Hah. Glad Q is getting such good press & attention from the musicians/DJs you want though! Happy for you!
