Yes, PFC is Private 1st Class. Damn all Politicians who love to start Wars when somebody else has to suffer and die for Bullshit. The “statesmen” don’t need ALL of Afghanistan”pacified” before getting out. Dec. 2014! The blood and life that is lost for what?, for Oil Companies & Mineral Deposits Investors! Slaughter has been the national pastime there for over 23 centuries; we can’t fixed it, and it ain’t gonna stay fixed for very long. Support our troops; get them out of the black hole of the Islamic world.

Another sad reminder to vote and get rid of the knaves who, so eager to fight an oil war in Iraq, let Afghanistan drag on and on. I feel every wounded serviceperson in my gut

This is one of the most powerful images I have ever seen. Manny hits the nail on the head with this one and I agree with Bob.

There must be something wrong with me because the first thing I noticed is how hot the soldier in the photo is, injured or not
