WHEW!
Well, the first week of the club’s existence is behind us and I’m breathing a bit easier.
We had almost 2,000 people come through the doors last Saturday alone and we’ve got big parties scheduled for today tomorrow and Sunday so hopefully we can improve upon that success.
On the minus side, I’ve managed to catch a bad cold from only getting about 2 hours of sleep a night for the past two weeks.
On the plus side, I haven’t had time to follow the news at all so I have no idea what’s been happening in the world of politics. That alone has been a blessing however, because for the past week my blood pressure has been quite normal thanks to having no idea at all what the republicans have been up to.
I’m about to dive into some of the political blogs so before I do that I’ll take some blood pressure medication.

So that boom I heard earlier was your head exploding in part disgust and utter bewilderment at this weeks new lows of the republicans.
I know your views on the top of the ticket but Godspeed on your efforts to assist the down ticket candidates. These idiots msut be stopped

The republicans are still the log of shit floating in a clogged toilet. They serve no further purpose in their current form and yet they continue to hang around stinking up the place and are going to be difficult to get rid of.

Basically you missed (R)Money faceplanting over the attack in Libya and a hopeful time for Dems (a lot of talk of increasing poll numbers, that Mittens has already lost) which seems a bit dangerous. But it would be fucking awesome if Republicans become so dispirited that they’re routed and Dems get a majority back in the house and 60 (+) seats in the Senate. Especially if Elizabeth Warren gets in!
But I bet the Repubs have something sinister cooking to destroy these new-found hopes!
