Obscene that another young person had to die in a war that is costing so much money that could be spent on far better things.

Another young man who gave his life, another hero gone. God bless his family for giving us this brave young man.
When I think back, at his age I had two tours in Vietnam, without a “physical” scratch. And here we are a century later still fighting senseless wars fought by brave young men.
But thankfully there are still “brave young men and women” to do our dirty jobs, I wish them a safe return as soon as possible.

    Hi Scott,
Again I say, when will we get the fuck out of that hell-hole country. Even the people we are training are turning their guns on American and other country’s troops. Lets just give it up and get the hell OUT. They are a backward, bigoted, ignorant and religiously fanatical people that don’t want us there.

Afghanistan is called ” the graveyard of empires” for a reason. Time to bring our boys home.

  6. Manny Says:

If only Romney’s sons were in the war, we might have had a chance to end this before Dec 2013. But the backward, bigoted, ignorant and religiously fanatical people of America are all for it.

That sweet innocent young face makes me want to cry. What a waste.

  9. Laura Says:

I want to say ‘rest in peace’ or ‘my deepest condolences to his family and loved ones’, or even ‘thank you for your service’ but they all seem hollow and inadequate. That our young people are still dying in Iraq and Afghanistan, for absolutely nothing, is heartbreaking. Godammit! Enough already!

We don’t see these faces in many places. When

Mixner runs the same tributes-it always stops me in my daily ramblings through the internet and I can only imagine the lives of their families at the moment.

    Thank you for doing so.

    I don’t have the words.

    HaShem bless them.
