WHEN THE WORLD HAD REAL NIGHTCLUBS
And people knew how to go clubbing.
This video was made at Sound Factory in New York back in 1993. The REAL Sound Factory — on 27th between 10th and 11th — and not the pale simulacra on 46th that tried, and failed, to pass itself off as Sound Factory later in the 90s.
I was in the club the night this video was being shot and surprisingly, as many times as I’ve watched it, I’ve been unable to find myself in the crowd in any of the shots.
Maybe I was in the lounge resting.
Or the loo . . . . . . “resting” there, too.
Whatever the case, the cute, shirtless Latino who appears at the :29 mark and again at around 5:38 is an old friend of mine named Andre and with whom I had a bit of a “three-way thing” once or twice or thrice.
The three-way consisted of him, me, and his huge cock.
He’s now a famous avante garde fashion designer, and I’m a nightclub owner {and semi-notorious blogger} and Sound Factory is but a happy memory.

“Ya got ta believe… in something…why not believe in me.”
(I’m not one prone to nostalgia…BUT…) Those were the days… and like you, I was most likely there too. The boys, the drugs, the dancing till your legs felt like lead…Sound Factory MOTHERFUCKIN’ rocked!
And Jr. looked like a baby in ’93 (but then I probably did too).
