are you fucking serious???? what is wrong with you????
July 20th, 2012 at 5:24 pm
ooooh bad taste considering…
July 20th, 2012 at 5:41 pm
Oh get a fucking grip, the both of you!
This was taken at a Batman limited preview last week and has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with what happened in Colorado nor does this post or its title.
You fucking people need to unclutch your pearls and get off your high fucking horses because the question I’d ask both of you would be — when is it OK for me or anyone to ever reference Batman again? A week? A month? A year? Never?
And you’re the people who get to decide? Is that the case? I should check with you before I post anything that might reference Batman because you know when its OK for me to do it and for people to see it because you know when enough time has passed?
Because what? You’re the arbiters of good fucking taste?
Fuck both of you and your self-congratulatory, overly precious sense of fauxtrage and concern.
July 20th, 2012 at 5:42 pm
The best I can say is that we are looking at the only kind of gun that is appropriate to pull out in a movie theater
July 20th, 2012 at 5:55 pm
Right on Scott. Hand wringing pc BS, so precious. In the meantime I could actually sit through a Batman movie if I was one of those lucky guys.
July 20th, 2012 at 5:57 pm
so scott, its is ok to make fun of new york and 9/11 now ? maybe make fun of aids? or the army ? or marines ?
July 20th, 2012 at 6:03 pm
Gerardo, read my response above and if your reading skills are as good as your use of upper case is bad then you’ll know that my answer is simply, I’m not the arbiter of good taste. And neither are you.
Oh, and Gerardo? How is that image paired with that title “making fun” of anything? If anything its a description of what’s happening in the picture.
You’ve just got your panties in a wad because someone used the word Batman and paired it with an image that is taking place in a movie theater and did it in an unapproved (by you) manner.
Want an example of making fun of 9/11? Here ya go:
Person 1: Boy! That whole 9/11 thing sure was terrible. But it could have been way worse.
Person 2: Really? How?
Person 1: They could have missed.
See, Gerardo — that’s making fun.
Next!

Yeah, I get so sick of these people who need to feel self validated because they’re able to tut tut over something they deem inappropriate.
And then after they’ve all tut tutted and taken you to task they will all go back to being a bunch of mindless sheeple, waiting for the next time someone like you acts in a manner they don’t feel is appropriate.
Because they all deem themselves to be the “deciders” of what’s PC and what’s not.
July 20th, 2012 at 6:36 pm
It’s a hot pic. And so agree with your earlier comments – people….un-clutch the fucking pearls and put things in just a wee bit of perspective. Will cut down on the cost of your meds….
July 20th, 2012 at 6:46 pm
Don’t like it……Don’t look at it! Pretty simple, huh….
July 20th, 2012 at 7:26 pm
These cuties need to find a room. Or, at the very least, a parked car on a dark street.
July 20th, 2012 at 7:34 pm
hey geraldo-
while you were busy hand-wringing
-clutching the pearls
-and popping your monicle,
some funny shit happened,
(mind you this is the short list)
South Park- everything/everybody
Sarah Silverman- 9-11, the Holocaust,
Peter Griffin singing”you’ve got AIDS”
Lisa Lampenelli- Race, the Handicaped
This is all I can think of in like 2 seconds
which is about the time I have for your B-grade histrionics.
July 20th, 2012 at 7:45 pm
Don’t kill me. But my fav is:
“Knock knock.
Who’s there?
Nine-Eleven.
Nine-Eleven, who?
YOU SAID YOU’D NEVER FORGET!”
Poor taste & lame I know but puns are fun. I typically tell it to whiny “patriots” around anniversary time to make them shut up & go away.
Also, that pic is fucking hot.
July 20th, 2012 at 8:07 pm
I would say the 12 people that died less than 24 hours ago might think its a little soon. Just saying.
July 20th, 2012 at 8:56 pm
Ah, sucking dick in the ‘regular’ theater……reminds me of when I saw that Matt Damon, S African rugby thing….memories!
July 20th, 2012 at 11:49 pm
Thanks, Scott, for giving well-deserved hell to the concern trolls!
July 21st, 2012 at 12:15 am
So, let me see if I’ve got this right. Cock sucking in public, not to mention flash photography in a cinema, are fine, yet vaguely but not really actually referencing a recent tragedy is verboten.
Kind of like when you go into the toilets for a secret cigarette, and the guys in the next cubicle snorting coke off the toilet seat huffily inform you it’s a smoke free venue and besides smoking is bad or your health.

OK, My take on this is we cant see the movie. These mass murders have occured in high
schools cant go there now cancel all of them and tear them down. Universities happened there too cant go there anymore tear them all down start with Harvard , Oxford and the Sorbonne hear they are some of the worst. Cant go to the post office again happened there too never can buy stamps or mail Christmas packages. You God Damn Stupid Idiots dont get it. Bat man is not devil worship and is not at fault for this tradgedy. The money lost will cause the economy to recover that much more slowly. Oh, and one more thing , were all of you whiners nice to this guy when you went to high school with him or someone like him. If he had had a friend in this world he would have paid admission to the movie with his friend and not gone there with guns.Dwight Williamson

I admit, the headline gave me pause, especially as I scrolled down to the pic, where one person bends down (… toward a cock, as it turns out, not in terror). So I can see how people might find it inappropriate today.
BUT I refuse to believe that any regular reader (someone who reads this blog for their enjoyment, and not to cherrypick reasons for trolling) would actually think Scott would be making fun of the victims of this attack. Anybody else probably wouldn’t even come across this, and even if they did, they wouldn’t give a fuck about what some random man on the internet writes (sorry, Scott, I don’t mean this as an insult).
So if you are offended: That is how the world is. There will also be people who say things that are stupid, offensive or hurtful. Some of these people are your friends, your relatives or complete strangers. Most of the time they don’t say it to deliberately hurt you or anybody else. And let’s not forget that sometimes the person who says inappropriate or hurtful shit is you, so let’s just rein in that criticism a bit.
Additionally, I am quite sure that the families and friends of the dead and wounded really have other things to worry about. Instead of complaining about a blog entry, why don’t you spend your time praying for them or donating to a charity or finding another way to actually help them and/or prevent something like this from happening again.

Well, commenters!!! Scott is teasing you with this post and you totally fall into his trap. The topic should be why a better gun control is not likely to emerge after this killing. Or why masturbating in an adult theater is a crime.
July 21st, 2012 at 3:29 am
All these queens with the vapors over a blog post! Good lord, grow the fuck up.
July 21st, 2012 at 5:44 am
I live here in drought land where it all happened. I thought this was meant to give us a bit of a respite and a funny picture to replace the horror on our televisions for a moment. Cause you know Scott’s generous like that.
July 21st, 2012 at 6:13 am
Hey, since I was actually in a workplace shooting once does that make me more qualified to pass judgement? Because here’s my take. The odds are we’re all much more likely to get a bj in a movie theatre than we are to be attacked by a random psycho, so thanks Scott for putting that into perspective. Wallowing in tragedy doesn’t honor anyone.
July 21st, 2012 at 6:25 am
I have to admit, my first response to this post was “Now THERE’s a theater shooting that people can get behind!”
Maybe that just makes me ungracious and thoughtless. Scott, you may want to start a club, or maybe rename the blog or something. It seems we have a theme here.

While working in my garden this afternoon and reflecting on this post, I reslized that Scott lives in an ancient Indian territory. And he has inherited the spirit of a traditional native buffoon/jester — I don’t know the precise English term — whose function was to shed light on what was repressed, inhibited, censored in the clan. The more sanctimonious, the less respect they showed.
July 21st, 2012 at 8:53 am
Actually, the biggest shock is if this is indeed a theater showing Batman, it is way too empty.
Agreeing with Bob, that is the ONLY gun that should be pulled out in the theater. Too bad we are not getting to see it shoot.
AND, no one has mentioned how fucking cute these two boys are!!
July 21st, 2012 at 12:51 pm
Reading Scott’s blog for several years has given me a sense of Scott’s character. The criticisms from Bobbie/aj tell me that they have no clue about his humanity. As the New Testament says, “Have you been with Me so long, and do not know who I am?” Initially seeing the photo I reacted emotionally, then my brain kicked in, and I knew Scott was not referencing Aurora, CO but a movie theater blow job. If the photo had been entitled a preview showing of “The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel,” we probably wouldn’t be getting “verklepped.” Scott, I trust your integrity, carry on.
July 21st, 2012 at 2:56 pm
SOME of the commenters would do well to notice the present slogan that Scott has placed at the top of the blog:
___________ ” Bite me “____________
I learned that Scott has his own wavelength, to which he is entitled, and I ain’t gonna change it.
July 21st, 2012 at 3:15 pm
This is the only reason I’d want to be ducking down at a movie theater.
July 21st, 2012 at 5:58 pm
Guys, Scott’s an ex-Marine. If you want sensitive, go blog with an ex-Corpsman…or current one. They tend to care (pun intended).
July 21st, 2012 at 6:36 pm
Firstly, really tragic what happened in Colorado BUT this photo is not about that. It’s about gay sex and that’s it. Now, to Brett, you say that the 12 people who died wouldn’t think this is funny. Who the fuck elected you as their spokesperson. Give the dead a break!!
July 21st, 2012 at 8:25 pm
Hahaha, AWESOME pic! I love a bit of cheeky, public fun and games
Thanks for the laugh, Scott
July 22nd, 2012 at 4:48 am
It took me a sec (or two) but, yea, I don’t think you’re making fun of anything.
July 22nd, 2012 at 4:36 pm
I feel sorry for the guy holding the iPhone..
1. he’s not in the middle of it, and
2. he’s going to cop shit for letting a flash off in the theatre!!
