The paper today states that a 4-year Marine veteran with 2 tours in Iraq was denied re-enlistment by a recruiter because of arm tattoos. Supposedly the veteran found community college boring. He now wants to enlist in the French Foreign Legion. “Dear Abby” recommends he should explore other U.S. military with less restrictive tattoo policies, as well as, learn some “basic” French. Scott, per your previous comments on USMC’s acceptance of lower-arm tattoos, I suspect the “story” to be fraudulent.
