Warmest thanks and appreciation to our ‘mother’ country who gave us so many things, the heritage of the Magna Carta, English common law, and some of her best blood in the form of
our earliest colonist/citizens. Speaking as a man of Scots-Irish heritage whose ancestors have fought in virtually every military conflict of this country from the French and Indian War onward, I am proud of my Scots-Irish roots just as I am of my Native American and German roots as well. This nation has the genius of bringing out the best in all peoples of talent, energy, intellect and ambition. But our foundations are British and you can still see that in so
many things we take as being purely American, including our parades and the uniforms of our Navy and Marines. God Bless Great Britain our oldest and most loyal friend an ally among the family of nations. May we always be there for her and may she always be there for us and let us never have any cause to face each other on the battlefield ever again!

In Scotland many people are campaigning for independence, we want to control our own natural resources and create a better and fairer society. The opposition to this call the campaign a separatist campaign. So happy separatist day America

As a Dutch descendent whose ancestor arrived in Brooklyn(a Dutch word), I wish the Brits hadn’t sent their dumb-ass religious wing-nuts(Puritans & Pilgrims) here to be rid of them, and to curse us with the fear & shame of sex(straight or otherwise) ever since. Had the Dutch stayed, we would be smoking everything and screwing anybody and all those Dutch boy-men in their blond curls and wooden shoes.
