{WHAT BIE IS ABOUT}

I'm Scott and I'm a New Yorker now living in Seattle and Bill is my oldest friend who just finished serving an almost 7 year prison sentence for selling meth.

Bill in Exile originally contained letters written between Bill and me while Bill was in prison as well as a bunch of other shit but Bill has, as of late, opted out of contributing and I've just been too lazy to change the name of the blog.
Some of what this site contains IS DEFINITELY NOT work safe and some of it may not be appropriate for those under 18 years of age. Navigate away if you have doubts. And if I've used an image for which you hold the rights and wish me to remove it or credit it please send me a POLITE email and I will be more than happy to do so.

Kind of off the subject here, but I didn’t realize that other countries flip their national-flag insignias on the right shoulders like the US does.

Or perhaps all I’ve noticed in the past are the symmetrical flags, such as Germany’s, or Canadialand’s, or the UK’s.

Regardless, yes, quite adorable.

Dallas Johnny P, the reason for that is so that the flag is oriented in the manner it would be were the soldier carrying an actual flag while moving forward with the flag billowing out behind the flag pole.

If he had the flag on his other shoulder it wouldn’t appear to be “flipped”.

There is a lot of nonsense that occurs in the military, but occasionally there is method to their seeming madness.

At first I thought his rank was “Adorable.” As in Cute, Hot, Adorable, Smokin’ are the equivalent of Private, PFC, Lance Corporal, Corporal.
